Norman is a city in Cleveland County named after a Santa Fe railroad engineer. Norman is on the South Canadian River.

Norman is the largest city in Cleveland County covering a total area of 490.8 km² (189.5 mi²). 458.5 km² (177.0 mi²) of it is land and 32.4 km² (12.5 mi²) of it (6.60%) is water. The climate of Norman in seasonal with an average low of 36 degrees F and an average high of 79 degrees. Norman receuves an average annual rainfall of 33 inches and an average snowfall of 10 inches.
